The protection of your personal data is a priority for ONE Cars Collection SRL. This document explains what data we collect through the website www.uniteddrive.ro and in our relationship with our clients, why we collect it, to whom we transmit it, and what rights you have.

1. DATA CONTROLLER

The data controller is ONE Cars Collection SRL, with its registered office at Șoseaua București Nord no. 7, 077190 Voluntari, Ilfov county, registered at the Trade Register under no. J2010000219256, Unique Registration Code RO27198210 (hereinafter referred to as „United Drive” or the „Operator”).

2. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT AND HOW

a) The forms on the website

Based on the form, we collect:

  • Contact: name, phone, email, your message.
  • Car Valuation (Buy-Back, Trade-In, Consignment): your contact details, information about your car (make, model, year, mileage, and more), and, if you upload them, photos of the car.
  • Car order / Import: Contact details and preferences regarding the desired car (make, budget, year, and so on).
  • Financing (lease/credit): contact details and information you choose to provide to us for referral to financial partners.

b) Technical Data for Form Submission

Along with your request, we automatically receive technical information: IP address, device and browser type, the page you used to access the site, and the source of your visit (e.g., if you came from an advertisement). We use this information for protection against abuse and to know which promotion channels are working.

c) Site Navigation

Through cookies and similar technologies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel), under the conditions of Cookie Policy and only according to the choices in the consent banner. Separately, we use a proprietary statistics system, hosted on our server, which records anonymous browsing events (pages visited, interactions), without name, email, or IP address and without transmitting data to third parties.

If you write to us by email or WhatsApp or call us, we will process the data you communicate to us in the conversation.

e) Clients and contractual partners

Upon completion of a transaction (purchase, sale, consignment, services), we collect the necessary data for drawing up contracts and invoices, in accordance with the law: name, identity document/CNP or company data, address, and bank details where applicable.

We do not intentionally collect data from minors; our services are intended for individuals at least 18 years of age.

3. PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

  • Pre-contractual steps and contract execution to respond to requests for quotes, valuations, test drive or detailing appointments, and for transaction processing.
  • Legal obligation: for the preparation of sales documents, invoicing, and compliance with tax and accounting legislation.
  • Consent: for statistical and marketing cookies (via the consent banner) and for any commercial communications, if you have given your explicit consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
  • Legitimate interest: for site security, prevention of abuse (including anti-spam checks for forms), anonymous internal statistics, and defense of our rights.

4. TO WHOM WE TRANSMIT YOUR DATA

  • Financial and leasing institutions: only if you are requesting a financing solution, for the analysis of the file.
  • IT service providers: website hosting, maintenance, security and performance services (Cloudflare), billing software (SmartBill).
  • Google, Meta, and TikTok: measurement and advertising dates, solely based on your consent from the banner (details in Cookie Policy).
  • Logistic partners: in the case of import or car transport services.
  • Public authorities: unless there is a legal obligation.

Important: We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

5. TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA

Some providers (Google, Meta, TikTok, Cloudflare) may process data on servers outside the EEA, including in the United States. These transfers are made based on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. STORAGE DURATION

  • Form requests or direct contact: the amount necessary for the settlement of the claim and a reasonable period thereafter, for our history and defense of our rights.
  • Financial and accounting documents: for the period required by tax legislation (usually 10 years).
  • Own traffic statistics: detailed browsing data is automatically deleted after a maximum of 6 months, and interaction events (e.g. form submission) after a maximum of 2 years; all are anonymized.
  • Data processed based on consent: until its withdrawal.

7. YOUR RIGHTS (according to GDPR)

  1. Right of access to find out what data we process about you;
  2. The right to rectification to request correction of incorrect data;
  3. The right to erasure to request the deletion of data if it is no longer needed;
  4. Right to restriction of processing;
  5. Right to data portability;
  6. Right to object, including for marketing purposes;
  7. The right to withdraw your consent anytime, without affecting previous processing (for cookies: the link Privacy Settings from the website's footer).

To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@uniteddrive.ro. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: ANSPDCP - www.dataprotection.ro.

8. DATA SECURITY

We implement technical and organizational measures for data protection: encrypted connection (SSL) throughout the site, restricted data access based on accounts and roles, storage of documents in protected, non-publicly accessible areas, and security services for the infrastructure. Access to customer data is limited to the United Drive team, to the extent necessary for operations.

9. POLICY MODIFICATIONS

We may update this policy to reflect legislative changes or changes to our services. The current version, with the date of last update, is permanently published on this page.
