Safety, Reliability and Trust
At United Drive, every car leaves the showroom with real protection, not promises. The used cars we sell come with warranties offered in partnership with CarGarantie, one of the largest European specialists in car warranties: over 40 partner manufacturers, 2.1 million active warranty agreements and a presence in 19 countries. Repairs and settlement run directly between the brand’s authorized service centers and CarGarantie, simple and transparent.
Authorized
dealers
Warranty repairs are carried out at your brand’s authorized dealers, with original parts or parts identical to the originals, and labor is settled according to the repair times published by the manufacturer.
National and European coverage
The warranty is valid in Romania and across Europe, on holidays and business trips alike. Wherever the road takes you, the protection goes with you.
Guaranteed transferability
The warranty is tied to the car, not the owner. When you sell, it transfers to the new owner, a real extra argument at resale.
Extended warranty on demand
If you want longer protection, you can purchase a 6 or 12 month warranty extension, as long as the car still meets the eligibility conditions.
Two levels of protection, the same peace of mind
Used cars sold by United Drive can be covered by one of the two CarGarantie programs.
The difference between them lies in the number of component groups covered.
The warranty package offered with the car differs depending on its make, power, age and mileage.
The exact program, duration and terms are found in the warranty contract received at delivery.
Compact
Protection for the heart of the car
It covers the essential drive groups and their internal components, exactly the areas where repairs cost the most.

ComfortPlus
Extended coverage, almost everything that can break
It includes every group from Compact and adds the comfort and safety systems, the protection closest to a new-car warranty.
Everything covered by Compact, plus:
- Steering
- Braking system
- Cooling system
- Safety system (airbags, sensors, seat belts)
- Air conditioning
- Comfort electrical system (windows, mirrors, central locking, sunroof)
For both programs you can purchase, on request, an extended warranty: 6 or 12 month extensions to existing contracts, as long as the car does not exceed 10 years from first registration and 200,000 km.
Warranty duration and eligibility conditions
6 months
For cars no older than 10 years from first registration and no more than 200,000 km when the warranty takes effect.
12 months
The same conditions: no more than 10 years of age and up to 200,000 km when the warranty takes effect.
24 months
For cars no older than 7 years from first registration and no more than 150,000 km when the warranty takes effect.
- The warranty is concluded together with the purchase of the car and takes effect on the date of re-registration or delivery to the client.
- It applies to vehicles with a total weight of up to 3.5 tonnes, from the wide range of makes accepted by CarGarantie, from Alfa Romeo to Volvo and VW.
- To keep the warranty valid, all maintenance work and inspections must be carried out on time, according to the manufacturer’s schedule.
Compensation limits
No grey areas: for each program you know exactly how far the coverage goes.
Labor costs are settled according to the repair times published by the manufacturer, and parts at the manufacturer’s recommended price, using original parts or parts identical to the originals.
Compact
Up to the current market value of the carthe general compensation ceiling, at the time of the repair
- Maximum 8,800 RON per repair for used vehicles.
- The same limit regardless of engine or mileage, with no additional caps.
- Labor and parts are settled at the manufacturer’s published values.
ComfortPlus
Up to the current market value of the carthe general compensation ceiling, at the time of the repair
- Maximum 8,800 RON per repair, only for cars older than 7 years at the date of the failure.
- For cars with more than 200 kW of power, a dedicated ceiling of 31,000 RON per repair.
- Parts are reimbursed on a sliding scale, depending on the car’s mileage at the time of the repair.

How a warranty repair works, step by step
Go to an authorized service center of the brand.If a failure occurs, you simply go to any dealer or service center authorized by your car’s manufacturer, anywhere in Europe.
The service center registers the repair with CarGarantie.The case is opened through the CarGarantie online platform before any work begins, with all the technical details.
Approval comes quickly.If the failure is covered and the warranty conditions are met, approval is given immediately, by phone or directly on the platform.
The car gets repaired and covered costs are settled directly.You get on with your day. Labor and parts covered by the warranty are settled between the service center and CarGarantie.
The limits of the warranty
We prefer to be transparent about what the warranty does not cover as well, so there are no surprises.
- Tuned cars are not eligible: any modification that increases power beyond the manufacturer’s specification rules out the warranty.
- Resellers and dealers do not benefit from the warranty: cars sold to dealers for resale or registered in their name are not covered.
- Commercial use excludes the warranty: taxi, rental cars, driving schools, courier services or professional passenger transport, even temporarily.
- Cars with more than 8 cylinders and cars not registered in the EU, Switzerland or Norway are not eligible.
- The warranty covers failures of the listed components, under the terms of the contract. The full documentation, the contract and the warranty terms are handed over when the car is delivered.
